Answer 1 :
The Denver RTD has bus service to and from DIA, less than 10 bucks
Answer 2 :
The Denver airport is far from downtown. Your options: RTD bus will be about $10, you will probably have to transfer downtown. It may be inconvenient. Google RTD for the website. Super Shuttle will be about $25 each way (you can arrange that in the main termanal). It's a van where you ride with a bunch of random people. It's more convenient than the bus. Taxi will be about $50 each way. Also, never rule out renting a car. It's sometimes only $20 a day.
Answer 3 :
R T D has a web site rtd.com I think this will answer all your questions about getting around in Denver
Answer 4 :
Just take an RTD skyride bus for about $8 each way directly from the airport terminals to downtown. The service operates every 30 minutes or better and takes only about 40 minutes to make the trip. If you want an even cheaper route, there are local RTD buses such as the line 169L which cost only $1.50 but require one free transfer in Aurora to get into downtown Denver with a travel time of about 1 and a half hours total. Good Luck!

About what is the most inexpensive way to travel from Casper Wy to Denver during the Xmas holiday without driving

What is the most inexpensive way to travel from Casper Wy to Denver during the Xmas holiday without driving?
I've looked at amtrack site and it doesn't have casper anymore as a destination. Also I don't think hitchhiking with 3 large pieces of luggage will be a viable option.

Answer 1 :
Try Greyhound. I know they have cut back their routes a lot in the last few years but it seems you should be able to get a seat. Lots cheaper than flying. Of course the cheapest way is to find someone else who's going too and offer to pitch in for gas.
Answer 2 :
hitchhike. Won't cost you a penny and you don't do the driving. lol...
Answer 3 :
Amtrack Train.
Answer 4 :
Hi there, I thought amtrack did have service from casper to denver still hm. Well you can use Wyoming Public Transit Assc. to figure out the best form of trasportation. You can find there info here : http://www.dexknows.com/category_Bus+Lines_Wyoming_Casper-1.html Also, when you get to Denver I would suggest using rtd bus or lightrail, but the lightrail would prob. be easiest and not too expensive. Here is info. to find out the schedule for that : > http://www.dexknows.com/category_Bus+Lines_Colorado_Denver-1.html
Answer 5 :
fly. That's about the only way to not drive. You might be able to get a bus.
Answer 6 :
Greyhound, there is a bus station in Casper, call there and get a ticket to Denver. It may take longer then driving but public transport is always good.

About train travel between denver and las vegas

Train travel between denver and las vegas?
is there any quicker travel by TRAIN between denver and las vegas other then amtrak which takes 25 hours. (keyword TRAIN)
Rail - 4 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
there is no train service between Las Vegas to Denver (a long time ago there was but it was cancelled) there is a Amtrak bus from Las Vegas to Salt lake city and you have very long layover (11 hours)for the zephyr to come though then the train to denver you might want to take Greyhound instead here
Answer 2 :
Sadly, there is NO scheduled passenger train travel between Denver and Las Vegas... it was discontinued in 1997. There is plenty of FREIGHT moving thru Vegas, but no passengers. Perhaps there should be a letter-writing campaign by Vegas-goers to push for a line tween Denver and Los Angeles... multi-class RR travel from those cities to Las Vegas. A Casino with a TRAIN Station as part of it's attraction?
Answer 3 :
The AMTRAK "Desert Wind" used to run between the two but lack of ridership caused it to cancel about 10 years ago.
Answer 4 :
There is no passenger train service to Las Vegas at present. There was a proposal to provide a high-speed passenger train service from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, but that would mean doubling the single-track line across the desert: President Clinton vetoed the idea because the extra track would disturb the habitat of the Desert Tortoise. The Californian Zephyr train (Amtrak #5) runs from Denver (where it reverses into the station - this would never be allowed in the UK for safety reasons) to Reno. You could then take an eight hour bus journey to Las Vegas. There is no alternative to Amtrak for your required journey (unless you ride a freight train illegally).

About how to should I travel from Denver to New Haven, CT

How to should I travel from Denver to New Haven, CT.?
Which airport should I fly into? What's the best way to get from the airport to New Haven? I'm looking for the easy, fast way to travel...paying a little extra is fine, as long as it's not ridiculously expensive.

Answer 1 :
Fly. Frontier and US Airways fly from Denver to New Haven. Price runs about $550.00 roundtrip. Go to: www.expedia.com
Answer 2 :
Of course air travel is way better. I can give you prices here and there and tell you go to travelocity of expedia or go directly to the airlines website but all that to save $20? Get yourself a copy of a book I own that helps you save on airfare, hotels, and car rentals every single time you travel. Get this book at http://www.myairfaressecrets.com The book is not expensive either. Just take a look at the website and convince yourself. $550 for a ticket? What a joke.
Answer 3 :
US Airways (not Frontier) flies to New Haven Tweed Airport, though not directly -- everything connects in Philadelphia and takes a prop plane from Philadelphia to New Haven. (Take dramamine.) Depends on when you're traveling, but I found flights over the holidays for about 665 Denver to Philly to New Haven. From there, there's a cab (10-15 dollars to downtown), or a bus (http://www.flytweed.com/transportation.html). However, most of us who live in New Haven fly in and out from either one of the NYC airports or Bradley International at Hartford. To JFK international, the same flight window cost 490. To Bradley, it was 550. From Bradley, best to take Connecticut Limo (van service) to New Haven (http://www.ctlimo.com/, $84/RT), unless someone can pick you up (45 min drive). From NY Airports, you have a choice. If you fly to JFK or La Guardia, you can take a really convenient airport bus to Grand Central Station (http://www.nyairportservice.com/, 21/RT), and then take MetroNorth (Commuter Rail) to New Haven (26ish RT, off peak). CT Limo also travels to JFK and LaGuardia. ($130/RT). From Newark International, hop right onto Amtrak. That can be as low as 50 dollars each way, depending on when you go and which train. (www.amtrak.com) Good luck!

zero /none =because there is no train serice between those cities sorry
Answer 2 :
Go to www.amtrak.com for schedules and fare information. However, I think you will be disappointed. Taking the bus would be a more viable option. You can get schedules and fares at www.greyhound.com.
Answer 3 :
It would probably be really cheap and definitely be beautiful! Go for it! Check in to amtrak.com.

About does anyone know of a reasonable way to travel between Santa Fe, NM and Denver/Fort Collins, CO

Does anyone know of a reasonable way to travel between Santa Fe, NM and Denver/Fort Collins, CO?
I need to find a way to travel from Santa Fe to Fort Collins or Denver (on Aug. 30th). I have looked into Greyhound and Amtrak but nothing really seems to run from Santa Fe and the schedule (from Albuquerque) does not quite fit. Renting a car is really expensive for this trip. Any other option or opinion would be very much appreciated. THANKS!!

There aren't many choice except flying, driving, or taking a bus. Your cheapest bet would be a bus. If you don't have a car, driving could be rather expensive. However, you could check out Allegiant Air Flights. They fly out of the Loveland/Fort Collins airport. I'm not sure if they have flights to Sante Fe but you could always check them out. http://www.fortloveair.com/

is there any other bus lines that would travel from denver co to missoula mt besides greyhound.?
Im planning on leaving in February and was curious if there was a less expensive bus line than greyhound going north. denver, colorado. usa to missoula montana usa

Answer 1 :
Nope. There are a couple of small lines out east, but , otherwise, Greyhound has a monopoly. You could check on Craigslist and post a message there. Worked great for me. Look under Rideshare. Post a message every 3 days so it will be seen.
Answer 2 :
Greyhound is extremely cheap. If you want to compare, check AmTrak rates or flights out of DIA. AmTrak may not even stop in Missoula anymore. That leaves flying or renting a car.
Answer 3 :
Try TRAILWAYS.

I'm flying from California to Pennsylvania. In between I change flights in DENVER!!!! As most of you know by now Denver is parralyzed due to snow storms. How can I find out if my flight (tomorrow at 10:00AM) will be going out? Is there a number I can call to verify it landing in Denver, or is there a way I can change flights? ANY information you could give me would be greatly appriciated. Like all of us I'd like to see me family for the holidays. . . THIS SUCKS! Thanks guys!
