What advice do you have for Amtrak travel to Denver?
We are traveling to Denver. We are going to rent a car and drive to Yellowstone. Does anyone have any car rental advice? Any Amtrak tips? (traveling with a 5yo and a 8 yo) Any help at all with be appreciated.

well I'm not sure where you coming from but I'm sure you realize that salt lake city would be way closer. also I don't know when your leaving. however don't be too disappointed if your train is late that dose happen (especially east of saint Lois) also be sure to plan your layovers well, they can be a great way to see a bunch of cities on one trip. some road in Yellowstone are closed in winter. don't forget sunscreen you can get sunburn really fast even in the winter, don't forget to get any permits you may need : http://www.nps.gov/yell/index.htm... oh and most important, don't forget to have a fun, relaxing time :)
