About how to should I travel from Denver to New Haven, CT

How to should I travel from Denver to New Haven, CT.?
Which airport should I fly into? What's the best way to get from the airport to New Haven? I'm looking for the easy, fast way to travel...paying a little extra is fine, as long as it's not ridiculously expensive.

Answer 1 :
Fly. Frontier and US Airways fly from Denver to New Haven. Price runs about $550.00 roundtrip. Go to: www.expedia.com
Answer 2 :
Of course air travel is way better. I can give you prices here and there and tell you go to travelocity of expedia or go directly to the airlines website but all that to save $20? Get yourself a copy of a book I own that helps you save on airfare, hotels, and car rentals every single time you travel. Get this book at http://www.myairfaressecrets.com The book is not expensive either. Just take a look at the website and convince yourself. $550 for a ticket? What a joke.

US Airways (not Frontier) flies to New Haven Tweed Airport, though not directly -- everything connects in Philadelphia and takes a prop plane from Philadelphia to New Haven. (Take dramamine.) Depends on when you're traveling, but I found flights over the holidays for about 665 Denver to Philly to New Haven. From there, there's a cab (10-15 dollars to downtown), or a bus (http://www.flytweed.com/transportation.html). However, most of us who live in New Haven fly in and out from either one of the NYC airports or Bradley International at Hartford. To JFK international, the same flight window cost 490. To Bradley, it was 550. From Bradley, best to take Connecticut Limo (van service) to New Haven (http://www.ctlimo.com/, $84/RT), unless someone can pick you up (45 min drive). From NY Airports, you have a choice. If you fly to JFK or La Guardia, you can take a really convenient airport bus to Grand Central Station (http://www.nyairportservice.com/, 21/RT), and then take MetroNorth (Commuter Rail) to New Haven (26ish RT, off peak). CT Limo also travels to JFK and LaGuardia. ($130/RT). From Newark International, hop right onto Amtrak. That can be as low as 50 dollars each way, depending on when you go and which train. (www.amtrak.com) Good luck!
