What is the most inexpensive way to travel from Casper Wy to Denver during the Xmas holiday without driving?
I've looked at amtrack site and it doesn't have casper anymore as a destination. Also I don't think hitchhiking with 3 large pieces of luggage will be a viable option.

Try Greyhound. I know they have cut back their routes a lot in the last few years but it seems you should be able to get a seat. Lots cheaper than flying. Of course the cheapest way is to find someone else who's going too and offer to pitch in for gas.

Hi there, I thought amtrack did have service from casper to denver still hm. Well you can use Wyoming Public Transit Assc. to figure out the best form of trasportation. You can find there info here : http://www.dexknows.com/category_Bus+Lines_Wyoming_Casper-1.html Also, when you get to Denver I would suggest using rtd bus or lightrail, but the lightrail would prob. be easiest and not too expensive. Greyhound, there is a bus station in Casper, call there and get a ticket to Denver. It may take longer then driving but public transport is always good.
